This is an invitation to you to take part in this blog. A committee will be working on grade level standards to align and integrate them with the social studies curriculum, GLAD units, and the reading curriculum. Check in from time to time and see what is happening. I would appreciate your insights, suggestions, and comments. Please add them to the working document.
I'm excited to try this new form of communication. This is perfect for collaborating on social studies standards alignment and CCSGs. I hope it is a success! As I get each grade level's standards uploaded, I will also upload the power standards selected by each grade level team this past fall. Then we can start the process. Hopefully by the time we get to our first meeting we will have a working document.
I'm not sure of all the ins and outs of blogging, but I want to invite you to help me learn. I know there are those of you who have ventured into this new frontier, so I appreciate any guidance.
